The newest restaurant is opening at Pinnacle Park, located at 2505 South Gulf Freeway, League City, Texas.
The first 50 guests who are lined up on opening day, June 25, will receive a special “Tastes of Mexico” offer book that includes monthly coupons for free entrées from June through December. Abuelo’s Restaurants Offering $6.95 Select Premium Margaritas All Day
LUBBOCK, Texas – On Thursday, February 22, Abuelo’s Mexican Restaurants nationwide, excluding Oklahoma locations, will offer guests a selection of Premium Margaritas for just $6.95 in celebration of National Margarita Day. From open to close, guests can stop in to sip refreshing Margaritas at the bar or in the dining area with appetizers or a meal to commemorate this fun holiday.

LUBBOCK, Texas – Abuelo’s Mexican Restaurants are heating up this Valentine’s weekend with sizzling specials. Most Abuelo’s restaurants are offering a Fajitas for Two, plus free dessert special for $32.99, that will run Friday, February 10 through Tuesday, February 14.
Other locations are offering a Prime Rib special, February 10-14, that features succulent Prime Rib, slow-roasted to perfection and served with Raja con Queso and signature Papas con Chile. Guests will get to choose either a 12-ounce portion for $20.59 or 16-ounces for $26.79.
The Valentine’s Fajitas for Two special includes a choice of up to four different flavors of Abuelo’s fabulous fajitas: Marinated Steak or Chicken, Yucatan Shrimp, Vegetarian Fajitas or Abuelo’s favorite, Bacon-Wrapped Stuffed Shrimp for an extra charge of $3.49. This is the fourth consecutive time since 2006 that Abuelo’s has ranked as the number one Mexican restaurant chain in the report that is released by the national publication.
The results were based on a nearly 70,000 subscribers reporting on 170,838 restaurant visits from mid-2015 to early 2016, rating the best/worst aspects at 238 restaurant chains around the nation.
Abuelo’s ranked highest in the Mexican dining category with a score of 85, based on rankings in food, menu variety, value, service and ambience. New Abuelo’s Mexican Restaurant to Open in Katy in Early 2017
Company’s first Houston-area location scheduled to open at the Shoppes at Parkwest
LUBBOCK, Texas – Construction is well underway on the new Abuelo’s Mexican restaurant, which is scheduled to open at 24600 Katy Freeway, Suite 1020, at the Shoppes at ParkWest in the first quarter of 2017. This will be Abuelo’s first location in the Houston-area and the company’s 39th location nationwide.
The new Abuelo’s will feature approximately 7,600-square-feet of interior space and will include an outdoor, climate controlled patio with operable doors that can be opened in nicer weather or closed as needed. It will also feature a natural light skylight over an interior courtyard, with a mix of both modern and traditional Mexican décor. The restaurant will seat approximately 270 guests and will employ between 80-100 employees.
