Abuelo’s Flavor Adventure Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is open to residents of the United States ages twenty-one (21) and over. No purchase, transaction or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. Sweepstakes is void where prohibited.

1. TO ENTER: Complete the form provided to you when you visit any of Abuelo’s 38 restaurant locations from June 17 to September 3, 2007 and you will be entered in a drawing to win the Grand Prize Trip for 2 to Mexico (1 winner overall); Ultimate End-of-Summer Fun Fiesta, featuring Abuelo’s Party Packs (1 winner per store); $50 Abuelo’s Gift Cards (3 winners per store).

All new eClub members who sign up on abuelos.com during the promotional period will also be registered for the sweepstakes.

To receive an entry form by mail, please send a self addressed stamped envelope to Abuelo’s "Flavor Adventure Sweepstakes", 2575 South Loop 289, Lubbock, Texas 79423 by August 20, 2007.

Entry form includes an option to join Abuelo’s eClub; however, participation in Abuelo’s eClub does not increase or reduce the odds of winning any prizes in the sweepstakes.

2. CONTEST DATES: Sweepstakes begins June 17, 2007. Entries will be accepted at any Abuelo’s location or by mail through September 3, 2007. Contestants may enter the contest one time on each visit to Abuelo’s during the contest period. Entries must be received by 10 P.M. CDT on September 3, 2007.

3. CONDITIONS: By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to abide by these official rules and also agree that Food Concepts International/Abuelo’s, its subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, franchisees, and advertising and promotion agencies may use their name, photograph and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes, in any and all forms of media, now known or hereafter devised (including and without limitation, the Internet) without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Upon request, winner may be asked to provide a written record of such consent. Entrants agree to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Release of Liability, and submit to a criminal background check, if selected. Each winner hereby agrees that they are solely responsible for the payment of any taxes that may be imposed on the value of the prize. Abuelo’s is not responsible for lost, misdirected, incomplete or illegible entries.

4. ODDS OF WINNING: Four prizes will be awarded per Abuelo’s location; one Grand Prize Trip for Two to Mexico will be awarded companywide from all entrants. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.

5. GRAND PRIZE: Winner of the Grand Prize Trip for 2 to Mexico (1 winner overall) will be randomly selected from all entries from all 38 Abuelo’s locations. Value of the Grand Prize Trip for Two to Mexico is Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00). Travel will be arranged with the winner and must be completed by September 20, 2008.

6. OTHER PRIZES: Sweepstakes entrants at each Abuelo’s location are eligible to win an Ultimate End-of-Summer Fun Fiesta, featuring Abuelo’s Party Packs (1 winner per store). Approximate value of an Ultimate End-of-Summer Fun Fiesta is One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00). Sweepstakes entrants at each Abuelo’s location are eligible to win $50 Abuelo’s Gift Cards (3 winners per store). No other prizes will be awarded. No cash will be awarded in lieu of stated prizes. Abuelo’s reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value for the stated prizes. Prizes are non-transferable. Title and prize may be revoked for any reason at Abuelo’s sole discretion.

7. ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes is open to residents of the United States ages twenty-one (21) and older. Void where prohibited. Employees of Food Concepts International/Abuelo’s and its subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, franchisees, and advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate families (spouses, parents, children and siblings, and their respective spouses) and individuals living in the households of the above are not eligible to enter or win. Entrants agree as a condition of eligibility that they have never been involved in an act or convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations.

8. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Drawing will be held between September 20 and 29, 2007. Winners will be notified by phone and/or e-mail. Winners will be notified by October 10, 2007. Winners will be randomly selected at Abuelo’s Corporate Office located at 2575 South Loop 289, Lubbock, Texas 79423.

9. WINNER DUTIES AND PROHIBITED CONDUCT: By accepting the Prize, winner agrees to participate in ceremonies and media events on any and all media. Winner may need to travel and attend events during work hours. Abuelo’s shall not be responsible for compensation for lost wages, or expenses for travel, lodging or any other expenses incurred in the fulfillment of Winner Duties. Winner is not an agent or spokesperson of Abuelo’s. Winner may not make any appearance or statement, or take any action in winner’s role without the express written authorization of Abuelo’s. Winner shall commit no act, nor shall winner participate in any conduct that could place the image or reputation of Abuelo’s in jeopardy.
