New restaurant scheduled to open at The Village at Cumberland Park
LUBBOCK, Texas – Construction is well underway on the new Abuelo’s Mexican restaurant, which is scheduled to open at 8926 South Broadway at The Village at Cumberland Park in mid-October. This will be Abuelo’s first location in Tyler and the company’s 40th location nationwide.
The new Abuelo’s will feature approximately 7,700-square-feet of interior space and will include an outdoor, trellised patio. It will also feature a natural light skylight over an interior courtyard. The restaurant will seat approximately 295 guests and will employ between 80-100 employees.
The new location will offer the same great Mexican food available in all Abuelo’s restaurants, featuring creative, made-from-scratch Mexican specialties, superior service and affordable prices.

In honor of National Tequila Day, Abuelo’s Mexican restaurants will be offering $5.95 premium Margaritas from open to close on Friday, July 24.
Abuelo’s will offer a selection of premium Margaritas including the 1800 Hand-Shaken Margarita, Agave Margarita, Skinny Margarita, Platinum Margarita and Cerveza Rita.
